Life: Tap Into the Flow (video)
LIFE: The ability to energize, vitalize, enliven, animate, and invigorate. The disciple JUDAS represents the cleansing of selfishness, allowing the life force to flow to every part of the body. The month is DECEMBER, the corresponding color is RED and the location is the generative organs.
“Life is our power to restore, heal, mend, procreate, regenerate, vitalize and energize. Life is always present within us. It does not grow old, wither or pass away.” (Twelve Powers in You p291) Christmas is not only when we celebrate the physical birth of the man Jesus, it is the time when we are reminded to let the Christ within us be born anew. It is a time to have a greater awareness of our own Spiritual nature. It is a time to reflect on what we can do to kindle our awareness. It is our spiritual power of Life that urges us onward, that urges us to grow spiritually.
Spirit is always calling us to a higher level, it is our power of Life that urges us to respond. Sometimes it is our power of Life that urges us to read
spiritual material, or it urges us to attend church, to come to classes, to pray, to meditate. Whenever we take that step, we are celebrating our life and our life force. We are acknowledging that we can live life more fully.
All of us have things to deal with. Maybe it’s being a fixer, maybe it’s having to be in control, maybe it’s getting through life by being a whiner. Whatever it is, we all have those defects and only God, only the Christ within can do anything about it.
There is a story about a little boy that would fly a kite higher than anyone else in history. He wanted to get into the Guinness Book of Records. And he got a lot of string, and his kite and the wind was blowing. The kite got so high he could no longer see it. A guy walked by and said “what are you doing?” and he said “I’m flying a kite.” The guy said “where is it?” and the little boy answered “It’s up there.” The man said, “well, where up there?” The little boy said “I can’t see it, it’s too high.” The man wanted to know
“how do you know it is still there?” The little boy said “Every once in a while, I feel a little tug on my finger.”
And that is our walk with God. We certainly have doubts, but every once in a while, we can feel a little tug. I feel the tug in my heart. It is our spiritual power of Life that is our power to be restored, to be healed, to be vitalized and energized. Our God, is a God of Transformation – always loving us, and always calling us higher. The everlasting truth is that if we Go Tell It On The Mountain – if we go to our higher power and ask, then it will be given.
